03/10/09 Fraserburgh will face Spartans in the next stage of the active nation Scottish Cup, after a dramatic 2-1 replay win over Bonnyrigg Rose yesterday. We scored the opener after just 41 seconds, a misundertanding between the Rose goalkeeper and left-back leaving Steven Main with an open goal in front of him. Fraserburgh added a second in the second half, a Johnston corner couldn't be kept out by Atai until it was over the line, but then Graham Johnston, Neil Main and Marc Dickson were all sent off in the last half-hour as well as Bonnyrigg pulling a goal back through Mowat, but the Broch held on for a win. Starting XI: Leask, Hay, McBride, Dickson, Ralph, N.Main, Beagrie, West (Stephen), Morrice (Hale), Johnston, S.Main

10/10/09 A Jonathan Garden header 8 minutes from time managed to save a point for Fraserburgh in a tough encounter away to Brora. The home side got ahead from Farquhar's strike, and the could have maybe scored another after missing a second-half penalty, but Gardens' goal gave Fraserburgh a share of the spoils. 13/10/09 A late fightback from The Broch put them through to the Semi-Finals of the Aberdeenshire Shield at the expense of Banks O'Dee, in a dramatic 3-2 victory. A Jamie Ralph own goal and a Richard Scaife strike had Dee 2-0 ahead, but late goals from Jonathan Garden, Jamie Beagrie and Zak Conway in the 78th, 80th and 81st minutes respectively, gave the away side what seemed like an unlikely win after Dee had lead for most of the game.
